We Specialize in Manufacturing Bulk CBG Distillate to Fulfill Wholesale Orders

Processing and Refining High-Quality Bulk CBG Distillate

CBG Extraction begins with our fully traceable US grown CBG-rich hemp biomass with extraction and distillation retaining the highest CBG concentration available from the hemp plant. Further processing isolates cannabinoid compounds and ensures federally compliant removal of THC, pesticides, heavy metals, fats, lipids and other undesirable compounds. The resulting bulk CBG distillate raw ingredient is ideal for incorporating into tinctures, gummies, topicals, cosmetics, soft gels and other oil-soluble applications.

Frequently Asked Questions About CBG

While further studies are needed, the most recent studies have propelled CBG into the spotlight for its distinct benefits as compared to other cannabinoids. CBG is recognized as the precursor to other cannabinoids and referred to as the “mother of all cannabinoids” in both cannabis and hemp plants. CBG is more prevalent within industrial hemp strains than in cannabis strains bred for THC (marijuana) but still a minor compound, until recently. Scientific advancements have resulted in the growth of genetically CBG-rich hemp crops to allow for greater concentration of CBG for extraction purposes.

Research has shown promise in CBG potentially supporting brain health, minimizing seizures with the potential to fight inflammation, pain nausea and has been reported to slow or prevent the progression of certain types of cancers. (read the research briefs)

During the initial growth period of the hemp plant, chemical compound, geranyl pyrophosphate and olivetolic acid, combine to form CBGa (cannagiberolic). As the plant grows and is consistently exposed to UV light, CBGa decomposes and eventually converts to other cannabinoids such as CBD, THC, CBC, etc. Because minimal amounts of CBG remains after the conversion process, very little CBG is extracted unless the plant is specifically bred to be CBG-rich for a higher production yield.

Cannabidiol or CBD is considered a major cannabinoid, while Cannabigerol or CBG is most often referred to as a minor cannabinoid because very little can be extracted from the hemp plant, as it makes up only about 1%.  However, with advanced genetics, scientist have developed a strain of hemp that is CBG-rich exhibiting a much greater presence of CBG within the plant, helping to make it more widely available.

As research and clinical trials begin to gain traction, consumers are identifying what cannabinoids may be helpful in addressing their needs.  CBG and CBD are two of the most popular cannabinoids and are catching the attention of research scientists and other health and wellness professionals. To fully understand all the health and wellness benefits that may be of value from these two widely known cannabinoids and that of as many as 140 other Phytocannabinoids, there is a tremendous need for additional research and clinical trials.

Both CBG Isolate and CBG Distillate are highly refined for maximum purity. The difference between the two is in the concentration of CBG, the existence of minor cannabinoids and the resulting format (powder or oil).

What is CBG Distillate?

CBG Distillate is a very light translucent liquid processed to separate out and retain the CBG cannabinoid and other minor compounds for added benefit. The end-product is a cannabinoid blend high in CBG concentration (at least 75% CBG) without the THC. CBG Distillate can remain as is or further processed into CBG Isolate.

What is CBG Isolate?

CBG Isolate is processed to be made up entirely of CBG with a concentration of at least 99% pure CBG and zero THC. CBG Isolate is a fine white powder easily measured for dosing and end-product formulations.

Choosing the right CBG raw ingredient will ultimately come down to the type of end-product, desired cannabinoid composition and the desired CBG purity.
