Compliant CBD

The 2018 Farm Bill removed hemp, with extremely low concentrations of the psychoactive compound delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, from the definition of marijuana in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).  By law, industrial hemp must be tested prior to harvest to ensure a tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) level of 0.3% or less on a dry weight basis to not be considered a controlled substance in the United States.

Hemp refiners who follow federal guidelines produce compliant CBD raw materials from input that tests ≤ 0.3% THC after refinement and purification. Compliant CBD can be in the form of CBD Isolate, CBD Broad Spectrum Distillate and CBD Crystal Resistant Distillate. While all are compliant CBD, the choice comes down to the desired outcome and the method of formulation.  Our team of scientists and chemists are available to help in the selection of the ideal compliant CBD raw ingredient and collaborate on product formulations.
